"Something's Up" In America's Big Berg
featuring
Selected Poems from The Alaska Mystery Collection
and The Tree Series
by Paula Marie Rose
Shannon and I had been been best friends since I was 14, which totaled 29 years of secrets and adventures shared. During the June 2007 interview; those who were asking me questions relayed some information that they claimed came from her, and was not what I would expect my best friend to say about me. Their statements, and a few other things that she had said and done over the six previous months, started to add up.
Perhaps those interviewing me lied, but I knew the people I was sitting with very well. Those on the other end of the wire asking questions knew everything about me; right down to the minutia of the contents deposited in my toilet, and apparently;
I use it more frequently than others do. There was even a brief discussion as to how I wipe! Unbelievable. When I get hired on somewhere; I refuse to waste my time watching another wipe their ass. I'm satisfied that most of us do, and it doesn't need to be discussed, or filmed.
The contents of my computer, and the trips and travels of my car were also brought up. I was questioned about them by the "Feeders," and yes indeed; there was more than a passing interest in the fairly recent purchases that I had made from Babeland.com. The Feeders had apparently been observing me while I was enjoying my purchases; in what should have been the privacy of my room.
To the male Feeders; I hope that you learned something about women, and how to please one, by watching me. I've had my share of lousy lovers, and if I've dissatisfied any; I'm game to improve. No wonder our country is in such a state of "disarray," if the Fed Peeps are busy watching Paula the Porn Star in a solo performance; instead of tracking down real threats to National Security. Remember! The dirt I'm carrying isn't mine; it belongs to "Nobody."
Female Feeders, find your credit card and get busy! You'll be glad you did.
I have less than scientifically deduced that men find our pulsating pleasure wands to be intimidating, and simultaneously enviable. We gals already knew that, but Big John never says No, and he's ready when we are! Have a look at their site guys; there's something for everyone; including straight men. Click here, and Let's Get It On!! www.babeland.com
Can I get a $250,000 HHS grant to conduct a study? I'd like to purchase every item that Babeland.com sells, and test drive them with a great looking and sexually adventurous male Fed. Film and FOIA That!!! It'll give a whole new meaning in Fedspeak to the term "Up Yours!"
Without that tape, I have no proof to present. But with that level of detail floating through the ether; either the whole world has X ray vision and Psychic Abilities, or I was indeed under surveillance and had been for some time; as one present and those receiving the feed, stated and confirmed. I'll take their word for it; make your own decision, Readers. I couldn't believe what I was hearing; the questions and the glasses of wine kept coming. I'm amazed that I recall as much of that evening as I do. "Nobody" is in shock themselves; apparently most others who have the same type of "interview" experience that I was subjected to, do not. That was an indirect confirmation from a "Leaf," I'm taking his word on that.
I will post other emails between Shannon and me. I found it very strange and out of character for her to never ask me for details about what I was trying to solve. Shannon has a very inquisitive mind; enjoys people watching, analyzing human behaviors and interactions, and using investigative techniques to solve problems. For her to not ask questions about; or to offer to assist in solving a puzzle which had damaged our 29 year relationship was out of character for her, but understandable.
Overall, I found much of her wording to be very stilted, as if an outside party would be reading it. I'll add notations or highlight such areas when I post those emails. An example below is the statement: "Eric and I are not family..."
which technically is true, but very unnecessary to state in writing; as all who were CC'd and I know that fact. Eric and I were married for 13 years, and Shannon and I had been best friends for 29. Both of them were closer to me than my own blood relations. They have been, and will remain for the foreseeable future, the listed beneficiaries on some of my financial accounts. I provided her copies of the beneficiary forms when I filled them out in 2006.
Her reference below in the November 7, 2007 email stating that I hadn't had contact for 3 months with family or friends was very puzzling. My various inboxes and outboxes have numerous emails between myself and several family members, friends, businesses that I ordered items from, etc. during every month of 2007. Below is a September 11 and 12, 2007 exchange in which Shannon is a recipient. She did not contact me while I was in Juneau during my September 2007 visit.
Gail sure seemed to be interested in those "Shadowheart" movie set photos, and I found a few which are now posted under the Disclaimer section. I found online today that there is a movie named "Shadowheart" by Dean Alioto slated for release in June 2008, according to www.imdb.com. I immediately recognized the name of Alioto, as the "Leaf" named Matt mentioned the name of Joe Alioto in an email back in February. (posted in the Emails from Leaves section under Matt.) Matt never mentioned that name again.

At a Public (yep, really!!) internet terminal in J town. Seems to work for email, my computer virused out and our network was hacked or something at my last place. Visiting here with Claire for a bit, then on to more adventures. Staying in hotels, as EWS doesn't feel like having a houseguest No cell phone, I'm going to be like Gail and get a land line when I get to a new place in the future. Doing my own thing and enjoying life, GOD Bless America! Have fun at the KW Sept. party!! PR

Hi Paula -
It is unfortunate that you find the missing
person report so funny.
I assure you Val, Claire, Eric, Anna, Mark, Gail and
I did not find any of it amusing. We were trying to
ascertain who would be the best person to initiate the
report. (It is best done by a family member). I
provided a current photo for it. Yes, contrary to
your beliefs, we (sibs included) were truly worried
about you and your well-being).
We will never know if you were traveling, were in an
alcohol rehab facility, were holed up in your bedroom
or any other conclusion we could jump to. Only you
know what the true circumstances were. As I mentioned
previously, I am comfortable with my "level of over
reaction" exhibited on your behalf. I did what a good
friend who loves you would do and I'd do the same
again in a heartbeat.
Eric and myself are not family, Val had enough going
on with moving south and Anna (having previous
experience in MP reports) said she'd do it and she did
(Jewel told Anna she filed one as well). I know
Val/Anna/Gail/Eric spoke to Jewel, Steve, Lian, Jerry
and others out of concern for you. All of them
inicated you were behaving strangely and out of
character.
I know Anna was in Juneau (on her cruise) and was with
Beth when she was talking to the PD, so I'm sure Beth
can confirm these events for you as my word is so
untrusted.
You, being the MP, are entitled to your very own copy
of the MP report, just contact the Tarzana PD for it.
Val contacted a number of PDs trying to get the right
jurisdiction.
I don't find any of this "interesting" as you do.
Even serial killers get a chance to defend themselves
in their day in court. Apparently I do not.
Do not move to Juneau with the intention of solving
this "mystery" on my account. It really isn't
necessary. What is done is done. I will not be able
to convince you that I did not betray you. If your
belief that I betrayed you caused all of this to
happen then I no longer wish to have such a huge
responsibility. Ceasing contact with your girls due
to upset with me is wrong. Upsetting and worrying
them is unforgiveable.
Just as you no longer trust me, the reverse is true. I
no longer trust your judgment and I do not wish to be
vulnerable to further hurt. You know all of my
secrets, just as I know what you have chosen to tell
me. Apparently secrets have become ammunition in some
sort of battle that I wish no part of. Intimacy and
trust are not easy for either of us and will be even
more difficult as a result of all this drama.
I have received nothing positive since July for the
privilege of "being your friend". Only a lot of
negatives, I've devoted way to much time, worry,
effort and emotion to this whole "chain reaction" as
you put it. Terry and my kids deserve better as do I.
I am forwarding copies to all involved as this ends my
involvement in your life.
Good luck, be happy, enjoy your terrific girls and
remember life is short.
I've enjoyed and appreciated our good times, thank
you for the memories. Be well.
SM

Hey Paula -
I'm glad to hear from you, I didn't figure I would as
no ones likes criticism.
Why didn't you (don't you now) ask me if I made
whatever statement I supposedly made to
this(these)credible person(s)? I'm not going to lie
about it.
I also feel betrayed that you'd believe a "credible"
source over me in anything. I can't imagine what I'd
have to gain by discussing you and dooming our
friendship in the process.
I hope you solve the puzzle but do keep in mind there
are two sides to every story and as you mentioned
everyone has an agenda. My agenda has always been to
remain best friends for life with you through the good
times and the bad. I suppose the good are in the
past and the bad are currently occurring.
It would appear that the friendship meant so little
to you that you'd take someone's word and pull the
plug without giving me any chance to defend myself or
let me know what I am needing to defend.
IRRELEVANT PARAGRAPH OMITTED BY PMR>
Is this alleged "information I divulged" something
known only to me? If not, you should widen the
suspect circle.
Why would you cut all contact with all friends,
family, children etc. for a period of 3 months
if you are upset with something I am accused
of doing?
Gotta go oversee the homework.
Love SM
