Below is the Order signed by the Judge, in reply to my Request for Christmas 2008 visitation. It's the answer that I expected to receive, although I am puzzled as to why the Judge again refers to "mental health treatment."
Say? Based on what? The Judge doesn't clarify where or how they received information to justify such statements being made, but I guess they don't have to. The Affidavit of Elaine Schroeder may be the source of the Judge's information, but that seems a bit skewed to me. Ms. / Dr. Schroeder's diagnosing me by reading some or parts of my story over the internet or from some printed pages seemed a bit premature, and I wouldn't have placed my professional reputation on writing such statements, but she was comfortable doing so.
And would every Mystery, True Crime, Victorian Romance, Erotica, or Sci Fi writer be placed in the Alaska professionals' Nutter Pool? Does one who writes about such things do those same deeds and or have those lifestyles themselves? I wonder how Patrica Cornwell, Dean Koontz, or Stephen King would be labeled? And how would the readers of these hugely popular writers be labeled? Yes, many of those in this story have read the works of those authors, and others who write in the genre.
And what mental health illness does this Judge presume that I have, and needs treating?
I've never heard of people having to prove that they are mentally sound, when no proof of being mentally ill is up for review. A small circle of folks singing the same tune doesn't make a "diagnosis" or collective opinion to be true. I'm contacting a few professional organizations, to see how common this sort of labeling is.
My daughter is now 14.5 years old. She may be 18 by the time I see her again, but her life story just keeps getting more and more intriguing to many. And it may turn out to be the best financial opportunity of her life.
