Mr. Grant's Barking Won't Shut Me Up!
God Bless America, and
Freedom of the Press!
Below is the "Memorandum Regarding Changes to www.frozenfiefdom.com" as signed by Mr. Paul H. Grant, on October 22, 2008.
Unless Alaska has seceded from The United States of America, and I missed that news broadcast; The Constitution remains in effect, for residents of Alaska, and those in the remaining 49 states.
Mr. Paul H. Grant, Attorney at Law, has been making full use of his Right to Freedom of Speech, and has made many incorrect, untrue, and very unflattering statements about me, in writing. (See his letter to me dated September 19, 2008 under "Eric's Legal Beagle..." section, and all the legal documents posted under "The Beagle Brays!" section.)
He is the legal representative for Eric William Swanson, my former spouse. As such, he is apparently parroting the words and thoughts of Eric; even when they carry the signature of Mr. Grant. Whoever is payin', must appove what he's sayin'.
Mr. Grant and I haven't met, yet. We may develop a mutual dislike of each other; for now, I am neutral. By his words in his September 19, 2008 letter, he's already expressed his opinion of me.
I have plenty to say myself, as I receive and respond to his documents. I also have chosen to exercise my Right to Freedom of the Press, and have published his words, and the documents which he has sent to me on this website. Some of those documents are signed Affidavits, bearing the signature of himself and other parties, which he has submitted to the Alaska Court System, in Juneau, Alaska. I disagree with, and can disprove, much of the content in the Affidavits and other legal documents which he has submitted.
On Page 1, he states his concern for my stating on this website that I'll tell anyone anything about this case. Of course! That's called Full Disclosure. I'm not hiding anything, but Shor Nuf sounds like some might be.
He just doesn't seem to get it that my website provides a complete and detailed account, in part by the words of my family members, Mr. Grant, and others, of everyone's side of the story. Equal opportunity for all sides to be read, and the readers to form their own opinions.
"Comprehensive" was a comment by one reader.
I don't understand why Mr. Grant and others would object to my publishing their own words, which he has submitted to me, and to the court. If they claim it's "The Truth", or "Their Truths", then they should be pleased that I want everyone to see for themselves what he and others think, and believe, about me.
The sentence in line 26 states "She clearly has no consideration for the possible impacts of public airing of the case on her daughter, her family members, or her friends ."
Contrary to Mr. Grant's opinion, I do care about the "possible impacts" of my "Hanging Out the Dirty Laundry", and how it might affect my daughter, Claire. I carefully considered that issue for months, before creating this website. I believe that this website provides a full and balanced view of the full story, and will give her equal and unfiltered access to all materials. If she chooses to ask someone "Why did you say that about my Mom?" they'd better have something truthful to say to her.
I can't change who my family members are, but who are the "friends" that he mentions?
Is he referring to Shannon Marie McCormick? By her own emails to me, and after reading the Affidavit of hers; she's no friend of mine.
If anyone is embarrassed, ashamed, or caught in a lie, it's their own fault. As the saying goes, "You Can't Unring the Bell."
It's always good to clear the air, and the Family Room, after the toilet overflows.
